Marlborough chrysoprase, also known as apple-green chrysoprase, is a highly prized form of chalcedony mined in the Marlborough district of Central Queensland, Australia. It is a translucent, apple-green gemstone often used in jewellery and lapidary work. The Marlborough mine is considered by many to be the best source of this specific type of chrysoprase.
